Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina Responsibilities We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, per diem, certified neonatal nurse practitioner in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open late 2024. About the Practice This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year An average daily census of about 5 newborns NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care °The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sisterLEVEL III NICU
staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at C aroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia , which is only 7 miles away °Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the levelIII NICU
in Gastonia may be possible; but would not be required, as this position is for the Level 1 nursery. Qualifications- Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
