We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to provide high-quality patient care, manage chronic conditions, and support specialty treatments. Rao Clinic is seeking one skilled NPs/PAs to join our interdisciplinary team. Candidates with experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine are encouraged to apply. The APPs will play a key role in patient evaluations, medical management, and coordination of care, working closely with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive treatment. Duties- Provide direct patient care including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients across the lifespan
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state scope of practice and collaborative agreement
- Provide preventive care, including wellness visits, screenings, and immunizations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with supervising/collaborating physicians and the broader care team
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive health
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, chart audits, and peer review processes as requested.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and all applicable Clinic policies and procedures.
- Complete required continuing education, licensure renewal, and competency training in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Perform other clinically related duties as assigned.
