Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our privately owned primary care practice. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting. You will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a diverse patient population while building long-term relationships that support whole-person health. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values autonomy, teamwork, meaningful patient care, flexible schedules, and 30 /60 minute appointments in a supportive practice environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and assessment of acute and chronic conditions Diagnose and manage common primary care conditions in accordance with evidence-based guidelines Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and follow-up care Prescribe medications and manage medication adjustments as appropriate Perform in-office procedures such as EKG interpretation, skin biopsies (if credentialed), joint injections, and wound care Provide patient education focused on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Support care coordination, referrals, and continuity of care across specialties Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical documentation standards Requirements Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina Board certification required Prior experience in primary care, family medicine, or outpatient internal medicine preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Proficiency with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks experience preferred) Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care Why Join Us? $60,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
