Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and medical records management. Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Engage in patient education and health coaching to promote wellness, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual needs. Experience Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, urgent care centers, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for efficient medical documentation and data retrieval. Experience managing complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or trauma settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers. Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
