FirstHealth of the Carolinas - a private , not-for-profit healthcare network serving the Sandhills of North Carolina, and nationally recognized as a top 150 place to work in health care by Becker's Healthcare three years in a row, is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Benign Hematology Program . Position Highlights Practice within a multidisciplinary cancer program that brings hematology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetic counseling, clinical trials, palliative care, and supportive services together under one roof. Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. 100% outpatient. No nights, weekends, or hospital call responsibilities. Collaborate closely with a supervising hematologist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order additional diagnostic testing, and facilitate specialty referrals as needed. Work alongside an experienced and highly collaborative team including Hematologists, Medical Oncologists, Nurse Navigators, Genetic Counselors, Social Workers, and supportive care specialists. Participate in a coordinated, patient-centered model of care focused on delivering high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications PA m ust be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification. At least 2 year s of Advanced Practice experience, preferably in pulmonology, oncology, or thoracic surgery. Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required .
