Job Description Description UNC Family Medicine and Pediatrics at East Pittsboro is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant). Located on East Street, in Pittsboro, NC, Family Medicine and Pediatrics at East Pittsboro is a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults, at any age. They see patients whether they are sick, looking for management of chronic diseases or looking for preventative care. Our team of medical professionals can provide care for the entire family. Family Medicine Services Acute care Preventative care Immunizations Prenatal care (OB) Management of chronic health conditions Well-child and sick visits Women's health In-office procedures Physical exams Nutritional counseling Pediatric Services Well-child visits Newborn care Immunizations Physicals Chronic Health Management Sick visits Screening tests

Practice Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Education Requirements:

Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
