Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity in Roanoke Rapids, NC ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with their Hospitalist program. A minimum of one year of in-patient experience as a provider is required. Roanoke Rapids offers an excellent work-life balance with the ability to live on Lake Gaston, a 20,000-acre lake perfect for fishing and boating.

Employment by ECU Health Physicians Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital, a 204-bed community hospital
Schedule:
7 on/7off, Tuesday - Monday from 7p - 7am No Call Established hospitalist program inclusive of 11 Physicians & 1 Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist program provides care to patients in an 8-bed open ICU with support from a pulmonary critical care physician and by a tele-intensivist service based out of ECU Health Medical Center Clinical responsibilities will include admissions and consults from ED, rounding on inpatients as needed, discharges, and coordination of patient and family care needs. Advanced practice providers work independently with limited daily physician supervision. Specialty support includes Interventional and General Cardiology (onsite cath lab), General Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pulmonary Critical Care, Nephrology, Radiology, Infectious Disease (telemedicine), Psychiatry (telemedicine), and Neurology (telemedicine) No procedures required. Average inpatient admissions volume for hospitalist service is 5-10 patients per night Opportunity to live on Lake Gaston Easy commute from Knightdale, Raleigh, Wilson, Rocky Mount and from Southern Virginia ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association are required.
