Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week PA or NP Opportunity•Rocky Mount, NC Phaxis is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established, physician-led medical practice in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Providers may work within either the Family Medicine practice or Walk-In Clinic , caring for a diverse patient population with a combination of acute, chronic, and preventative healthcare needs. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider looking for competitive compensation, significant productivity bonus potential, dedicated clinical support, and a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic medical conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and diagnostic studies Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness Educate patients regarding medications, preventative care, lifestyle modifications, and chronic disease management Perform routine in-office procedures within scope of practice Provide ongoing management of chronic and complex medical conditions Care for a diverse patient population, including Medicare and geriatric patients Collaborate with physicians, nurses, MAs, LPNs, and other clinical team members Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Promote continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience Qualifications Active and unrestricted North Carolina Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program Experience in Family Medicine, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Walk-In Clinic preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Ability to manage both acute and chronic medical conditions Excellent communication and patient education abilities Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Relocation candidates are welcome to apply
Compensation Base Salary:
$92,367•112,893 annually , based on experience. In addition to base compensation, providers are eligible for a biannual RVU productivity incentive program . Providers who exceed established productivity targets can earn an additional $15.38 per RVU , with many Advanced Practice Providers earning $20,000+ in additional annual compensation .
