Job Summary Join an independent internal medicine practice in Sylva, North Carolina as the second provider, earning $115,000
•130,000 base plus a productivity bonus on a Monday through Thursday schedule with a short Friday ending at 2:00 or 3:00 PM. The physician owner will personally introduce you to patients during ramp-up at your pace, not on a fixed timeline, with room to grow into integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy without changing employers. New graduates are genuinely welcome. What You'll Do Provide internal medicine and primary care to adults and older adults ages 16 and up Start at approximately 18 patients per day, building toward a full panel at your own pace Deliver telehealth consultations alongside in-person visits Document encounters accurately in Athena EMR Apply CPT and ICD-10 coding for documentation and billing integrity Follow ACO standards for patient engagement and quality measures Build and retain your own patient panel over time Develop skills in integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy as those services expand Why You Will Love This Role Personal mentorship from the physician owner, who introduces you to patients one by one You are the second provider, caseload and workflow shift around you as you arrive Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM plus a short Friday ending at 2:00 or 3:00 PM Overtime is not expected, duties designed to fit within scheduled hours $115,000
•130,000 base plus 25% of collected profit above a $25,000 threshold Room to grow into integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy New graduates genuinely welcome Malpractice insurance covered, $500 annual CME allowance, 50% DEA renewal covered Small, close-knit team that describes itself as family Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing or higher required FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or ANP certification Active North Carolina FNP license required before start, candidates outside the region must complete NC licensure and relocate before beginning Active NPI number and valid DEA certificate required CAQH login and account required Minimum one year of prior RN experience required Willingness to commit to the practice for at least two years required English fluency and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding required One year of primary care experience preferred Medicare and Medicaid enrollment preferred, or ability to enroll quickly Compensation and Benefits $115,000
