About us Jackson Medical Associates is a small business in Sylva, NC. Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Jackson Medical Associates is a Nurse Practitioner led practice. Owned and operated by a NP. Our practice continues to rapidly grow and is looking to add additional Nurse Practitioners to our team. The Jackson Medical Associates team consist of 12 providers and a wonderful staff. Providing primary and urgent care to the community. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of Medical Professionals. A fast-paced work environment caring for 3-5 patient an hour, on average in the urgent care department. We have two providers dedicated to urgent care daily. Our Nurse Practitioners are crucial to their team, so we're interested in hiring individuals who enjoy working in a challenging environment and prioritize the needs of patients above all else.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the health of patients. Provide primary care to patients. Communicate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers. Use current medical standards and guidelines. Respond to urgent patient needs in a timely manner. Provide recommendations for further care when needed.
