Job Description
Come grow with us. Vital Now Urgent Care and Wellness is a new, independent, physician-owned clinic in Taylorsville, North Carolina. We are a hybrid practice — urgent care and full-scope primary care under one roof — and we are hiring our first Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will help build this practice from its opening week rather than step into someone else's system. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We will train you, and we will ramp you up deliberately. Why this role is different You will not be one APP among thirty working off a corporate template. You will work directly alongside a board-certified family medicine physician who is on site, available, and genuinely interested in teaching. We have built structured onboarding, direct physician supervision, and a graduated autonomy plan for clinicians early in their careers. We would rather train someone well than inherit someone else's habits. What you will do See acute, episodic urgent care complaints across the lifespan, from pediatric through geriatric patients Build and manage your own continuity primary care panel — chronic disease management, preventive care, and wellness visits Order and interpret on-site diagnostics: digital X-ray, point-of-care ultrasound, and in-house laboratory and point-of-care testing, with results back while the patient is still in the room Perform office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, joint injection, and skin biopsy Contribute to our service lines: occupational health for local employers, medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, medical weight management including GLP-1 therapy, and IV hydration and infusion therapy Document in eClinicalWorks (eCW) with AI-assisted charting, so your evenings belong to you and not to your inbox What we are looking for Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure before your start date National certification: FNP-C or
