Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Washington, NC ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Beaufort Hospital are seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department located in Washington, North Carolina. Washington, North Carolina, is a quaint waterfront community offering an excellent work life balance. Combined with eastern North Carolina's mild climate and affordable cost of living, Washington is a great place for providers to call home.
Highlights include:
Employment by ECU Health Physicians Hospital privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a 142 bed full-service campus of ECU Health Medical Center Opportunities exist to pick up shifts at ECU Health Medical Center, a nearby 974-bed level 1 trauma center, with a 56•bed emergency department Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system 16•bed emergency department Majority of patients are adults w/ ESI 3-5 conditions and intermittently pediatric patients
ESI 4 & 5
Minor procedures including I&D, laceration repairs, and minor fracture care Schedule will include (3) 12-hour clinical shifts and (1) 4•hour admin shift per week Clinical Shifts are 7a-7p or 5p-5a No call Average patient volume is 2 patients per hour depending on acuity
ACLS & PALS
