Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to be part of our Behavioral Health team in Hendersonville, NC.

Prescribe psychiatric mediations and provide medication evaluations and medication management; provide for the medical supervision, including psychotherapy, of patients and clients at Blue Ridge Health.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations. Documents each patient encounter in the patient record, clearly and concisely, on the day the patient encounter takes place. Ensures that notes are cosigned in a timely fashion according to State of North Carolina regulations and/or BRCHS policy. Follows patient protocols as specified by BRCHS clinical policies. Consults backup physician when appropriate. Assumes responsibility for the care of patients in collaboration with center physicians. Utilizes patient care protocols in collaboration with the center physicians when providing medical care to patients. Educate individuals regarding the appropriate use of medication s and its side effects Prescribe, manage and monitor medications for BRCHS patients.
What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Master's Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Certification in NC as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Experience in an ambulatory care setting Maintain current CME and BLS certification
