Job Summary My client is a rural community clinic that needs a compassionate and hard working FNP to work with
PRIMARY CARE
patients and some urgent or emergency care on a rotating basis (1 day per week). 4 Days in Clinic.

Up To 30,000 Bonuses Available - (Resctrictions apply) Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as infectious diseases, gastrointestinal issues, pain management, and behavioral health concerns. Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, phlebotomy, catheterizations, and dermal filler injections. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to healthcare services. Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications. Participate in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Qualifications Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with valid certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Proven experience in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office procedures and EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases involving acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and specialty areas such as gastroenterology or infectious disease. Familiarity with advanced procedures including suturing, IV infusion therapy, spinal taps, and dermal fillers. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), drug enforcement regulations (DEA), and documentation standards. Strong clinical assessment skills combined with physiology knowledge for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse patient populations effectively. Experience working within collaborative practice agreements or healthcare teams in hospital or outpatient environments. Additional experience in telehealth platforms or specialized fields such as hospice & palliative medicine or senior care is advantageous.
