Fargo, ND Join the Industry Leader in Geriatric Mental Health Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in North Dakota . Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities. Responsibilities:
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient's mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Requirements Licensed in North Dakota by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA) 1 year of Geri Psych Experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Skills Basic computer knowledge. Excellent written communication. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Benefits Generous base salary (base begins following the initial 30-day orientation and training period) with monthly incentives.
