Job Description

Schedule:
40 hrs/wk; 8a-5p, 5 days/wk. (Part-Time coverage may be considered.)
Position Summary:
Columbus Psychiatry Clinic is recruiting a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. Will be responsible for providing assessment and evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, and medication management for patients experiencing mental and behavioral health disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. The provider will work collaboratively with the Psychiatrist and healthcare team to provide evidence-based mental health services, including but not limited to assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic tests, prescribing medications, providing patient education, preparing documentation, and initiating appropriate referrals for healthcare, social service programs, and community resources to meet the identified needs of patients and families.
Qualifications:
Current Nebraska APRN or PA license required. PMHNP candidates must be graduates of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and hold current
PMHNP-BC
certification. PA candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
