Med Spa Nurse Practitioner Face To Face Spa Omaha Omaha, NE Job Details Part-time | Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication BLS Certification APRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) Advanced practice provider Community relationship building Full Job Description Med Spa Nurse Practitioner We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and client-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our growing med spa and aesthetic medical practice. This position is ideal for a motivated provider who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, outstanding aesthetic results, and an elevated client experience. As our Med Spa Nurse Practitioner, you will provide a range of aesthetic and skin health treatments, conduct medical assessments, develop customized treatment plans, and serve as a clinical leader within the practice. You will help clients achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance. Responsibilities Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments in accordance with medical protocols, state regulations, and established standards of care. Services may include cosmetic injectables, laser and energy-based treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, and other medical-grade skin treatments. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and good faith exams, including medical history review, informed consent, and individualized treatment planning. Prescribe and order aesthetic treatments, medications, and medical-grade skincare within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice. Recognize, manage, and document treatment complications and adverse events. Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and aesthetic staff, including reviewing treatment plans and supporting staff training. Help develop, review, and maintain clinical protocols, standing orders, and safety procedures. Educate clients on aesthetic procedures, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, and recommended skincare regimens. Recommend and sell appropriate medical-grade skincare products and aesthetic services to support treatment outcomes and meet established sales goals. Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport, addressing client concerns, and ensuring complete client satisfaction. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Maintain treatment rooms in a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked condition. Clean, disinfect, and maintain all equipment and instruments according to manufacturer guidelines and infection control standards. Perform general clinic housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and maintaining an organized workspace. Assist with marketing initiatives, community outreach, promotional events, and practice growth efforts. Monitor inventory and report supply needs as appropriate. Address client concerns professionally and refer unresolved issues to management when necessary. Stay current with the latest aesthetic treatments, techniques, products, and industry trends through continuing education. Maintain compliance with all company policies, HIPAA regulations, OSHA standards, and applicable state licensing and prescribing requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC). Current, unrestricted Nebraska APRN-NP license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date). Current BLS certification. Excellent clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
Preferred:
Minimum of one year of experience in a med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or other aesthetic setting. Nurse Practitioners with a strong clinical background who are new to aesthetics may be considered. Experience with cosmetic injectables, laser or energy-based devices, or advanced skin treatments. Knowledge of skincare, facial anatomy, and aesthetic medicine.
