Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Board Certified in Family Nurse Practice (FNC-BC), to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care for Pulmonary and Sleep. Your expertise will support patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, and ongoing management while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to optimize health outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through innovative and personalized care delivery. Training will be provided by a board certified pulmonologist. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations using advanced clinical knowledge of physiology and medical terminology. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations. Utilize EMR/EHR system Athena for accurate documentation of medical records, medication administration, diagnostic evaluation, and clinical research data. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists in pulmonary and sleep, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies. Provide telehealth services to expand access to quality healthcare while maintaining high standards of patient communication and education. Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with FNC-BC credentialing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Strong knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation purposes. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $126,619.03 per year
