The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. The Go Team PA/NP is prepared to deliver primary health care, including but not limited to: recognition and management of common illnesses and injuries in the Emergency Department and inpatient setting HM, ICU, some of which may be determined by protocol; provision of care across the health care continuum with emphasis on the early detection and treatment of disease, as well as prevention. Essential Non-Clinical Functions of Job APP must be flexible and have the ability to travel to various RWJBarnabas locations on a regular basis based on staffing needs APP must be able to work proficiently in HM, EM, and ICU Essential Clinical Functions of Job Work clinical shifts Membership to the medical staff and/or allied health staff Maintains appropriate certifications, licenses, and hospital privileges Obtains and records patient history and performs physical examinations Responsible for completing a medical screening exam Perform diagnostic and therapeutic studies Orders diagnostic laboratory tests, radiological studies or other therapies as appropriate Establishes diagnostic decision-making and initiates a treatment plan, which may include ordering medications, additional therapeutic modalities, etc Coordinates patient care with other members of the health care team Initiates consultation request to other health professionals to provide more comprehensive patient management Instructs and counsels patients regarding mental and physical health; referring patients to appropriate specialists/resources Adequately manages patient flow in the

ED/HM/ICU

Performing other procedures as allowed by state law and under the direction of your supervising or collaborating physician Active participation in department staff meetings and risk management education Thorough and timely chart completion Completes required courses, i,e,HIPAA, EMTALA and other CME CEU requirements Must be able work extended hours including weekdays, overnights, weekends, and holidays

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant EM, HM, and/or ICU experience, ideally candidate will be proficient in all Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Physician Assistant Certification Registration & Licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Physician Assistant Advisory required Basic Life Support BLS and Advanced Life Support ACLS Certifications New Jersey CDS and DEA Licensure Active membership in a professional organization preferred Ability and willingness accommodate scheduling needs including working extended hours, weekdays, overnights, weekends, and holidays
