Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses Develop individualized treatment plans for patients Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary Order and interpret diagnostic tests Provide health education to patients and their families Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in EMR Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Qualifications & Skills Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey practice Prior experience working in an internal medicine or primary care setting Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in EMR and medical documentation Commitment to ongoing professional development and education Bilingual proficiency is a plus Strong understanding of internal medicine principles and practices Ability to perform clinical procedures relevant to internal medicine Excellent diagnostic and critical thinking skills Strong organizational and time management skills High level of professionalism and ethical standards
