Nurse Practitioner Hemant Shah MD PC Jersey City, NJ Job Details Full-time | Contract From $140,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Diagnostic radiology Advanced practice provider Emergency medicine Patient interaction General practice Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Practitioner (NPC or APN) to join a busy-walk-in Family Practice Clinic. The office is on quiet neigborhood of Jersey City Heights, one & a half-mile north of Journal Square in Jersey City. The new candidate will replace the NP who is relocating after 9 years in the group. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Perform medical procedures including phlebotomy and medication administration. Utilize medical imaging and laboratory results to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle modifications and disease management. Collaborate and harmoniously work with the office staff. Respond to emergency situations with appropriate medical interventions as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. We do not have EMR systems. Willing to work half a day on Saturdays . Willing to work 6 days in a week when MD is on vacation without extra pay. Willing to see at least 25 patients a day.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 yrs work experience Yearly Salary #140k-150K based on experience Bi-weekly Pay (1099) Vacation (10 working days), 6 major Paid Holidays M-F, 9-5, Sat 9-1 (40 hrs per week), Wed until 2pm Emplpoyer pays License fees, Malpractice, CDS, DEA, Rx Pads & Parking To work when MD takes a vacation 2-yr Contract No restictive covenant for 1st year Performance bonus given at the end of the year NO EMR White coat to wear Review reports, forms & sign Online work to be done by NP, eg Death certificates Walk-in Clinic Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and clinical decision-making. Strong knowledge of medical imaging processes and laboratory diagnostics. Experience in medication administration protocols. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices. Ability to work effectively within healthcare systems and collaborate with other professionals. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and health coaching. Compassionate approach towards patient care, particularly in memory care settings. Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality patient care.
