Company Overview Manhattan Internal Medicine Associates, P.C. is a reputable internal medicine practice located in midtown Manhattan. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a vibrant and dynamic environment. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in dermatology to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional skin care services, perform advanced dermatological procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations Diagnose and treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, and other common skin conditions Perform skin cancer screenings and evaluate suspicious lesions Evaluate rashes, moles, cysts, and other skin concerns Prescribe and manage appropriate dermatologic medications Order and review laboratory and diagnostic testing when appropriate Perform minor dermatologic procedures within scope of practice and experience Provide patient education and preventive skin-care counseling Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the EMR Collaborate with physicians and other providers as needed Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license with certification in dermatology or relevant specialty preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with Athenahealth is a plus. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Experience working in outpatient dermatology clinics or medical offices; prior exposure to telehealth platforms is advantageous. Background in managing complex cases involving skin conditions, including autoimmune disorders or infectious diseases of the skin. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate diverse patient populations effectively. Pay:
$125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
