Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, including primary care, urgent care, and specialty services. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including experience with EMR systems, medical documentation, and a variety of clinical procedures, to support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and sterile processing when necessary. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including gastroenterology, geriatrics, behavioral health, and infectious disease care. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and patient record management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure continuity of care. Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, and disease management strategies. Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes. Experience Proven clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or urgent care. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation and order management. Experience performing procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and sterile technique. Strong background in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, critical & intensive care scenarios, or post-acute care environments. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and drug enforcement regulations for prescribing medications. Familiarity with telehealth platforms to deliver remote patient consultations effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or teaching hospitals. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), hospice & palliative medicine, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
