Job Description
Atlantic Health is Seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for Psychiatry in Newton, New Jersey Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Department of Psychiatry at Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center. As a Nurse Practitioner for the Department of Psychiatry, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention services. The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of psychiatric experience, however new graduates are welcome to apply. In this position, the NP will have the flexibility to choose the number of shifts they wish to undertake, along with the option to work inpatient, outpatient, or a combination of both settings. Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey ANCC certified ACLS and BLS certification required 2 years of psychiatry experience preferred Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
