Job Description

Join a collaborative Interventional Radiology team in Brick Township, NJ, providing a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care in a well-supported clinical setting. This locum tenens role offers competitive hourly pay and a predictable schedule.
Compensation:
$135 per hour Schedule and Setting 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient Four 10-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM-6:30 PM) No call Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients referred for interventional radiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings Perform pre-procedure assessments and deliver timely post-procedure follow-up care Support procedural workflow and coordinate patient care with the IR team and multidisciplinary partners Provide clear patient education on procedures, risks, benefits, and aftercare Accurately document encounters and procedural notes in the electronic medical record Required Procedural Skills Paracentesis Thoracentesis PICC line placement Team Structure Collaborate directly with one Interventional Radiology physician and one advanced practice provider Patient volume varies based on procedural and clinical demand Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New Jersey Prior experience in interventional radiology, procedural care, hospital-based medicine, or a related specialty preferred Demonstrated competency in paracentesis, thoracentesis, and PICC placement Strong clinical judgment, procedural skill set, and communication abilities
