Infectious Disease Salary:
$150,000-$220,000 annually Elaya Health is a rapidly growing specialty medical group providing on-site care to patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. As we expand our Infectious Disease division , we are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider interested in infectious disease and looking for clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, strong physician and administrative support, and the opportunity to help build a growing specialty program. About the Role Our providers deliver on-site infectious disease care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will evaluate and manage a wide range of infectious conditions while working closely with facility nursing teams, primary care providers, wound care teams, and administration. Responsibilities Perform on-site infectious disease consultations and follow-up visits Evaluate and manage common and complex infections in the skilled nursing population Review cultures, laboratory results, imaging, and antimicrobial therapy Manage and monitor patients receiving antibiotic treatment Provide recommendations regarding antibiotic selection, duration, and appropriate follow-up Evaluate recurrent or difficult-to-treat infections Collaborate closely with nursing staff, primary care providers, wound care teams, and facility leadership Help reduce unnecessary hospital transfers through timely specialty evaluation and proactive management Document in facility EMRs, with training and administrative support provided What We Offer Competitive compensation of $150,000-$220,000 annually Flexible scheduling Strong clinical and administrative support Physician oversight and clinical guidance Training and ongoing support in our clinical protocols and workflows Significant clinical autonomy No traditional office-based patient panel Opportunity to play an important role in the growth of Elaya Health's Infectious Disease division Opportunities for advancement as Elaya Health continues to expand Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York and/or New Jersey, or willingness to obtain licensure Infectious disease experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Experience in internal medicine, hospital medicine, geriatrics, wound care, or skilled nursing is highly valued Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfortable reviewing cultures, laboratory results, and antimicrobial treatment plans Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and facility clinical teams Patient-centered and committed to providing high-quality care to the long-term care population Interested?
