Setting:

Outpatient psychiatry In-person practice in Paterson with telehealth opportunities as appropriate Clinical Responsibilities The PMHNP will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric services, including: Psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Medication management and follow-up care Treatment planning and coordination of care Management of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for appropriate patients Evaluation and management of patients seeking New Jersey medical cannabis certification , when clinically appropriate and legally permitted TMS patient evaluation and TMS treatment mapping Participation in TMS-related clinical services as appropriate Brain Ways will provide training in TMS mapping for qualified providers; prior TMS mapping experience is preferred but not required Collaboration with other members of the patient's treatment team Timely and accurate clinical documentation Appropriate risk assessment, safety planning, and clinical follow-up Coordination of referrals and higher levels of care when clinically indicated Preferred Qualifications

PMHNP-BC

certification Active New Jersey APRN/NP license DEA registration and applicable New Jersey controlled-substance authorization Experience providing outpatient psychiatric medication management Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults MAT/addiction treatment experience strongly preferred Experience with medical cannabis evaluation/certification preferred TMS experience or willingness to receive TMS mapping training Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Experience with telepsychiatry is a plus Spanish-speaking provider strongly preferred Why Join Brain Ways?
