Part Time | $85 to $100/hour | Wellness Counseling | Ramsey, Hoboken, or Montclair, NJ + Telehealth About Us Wellness Counseling is a thriving multi location group therapy practice serving children, teens, and adults across northern New Jersey, with offices in Ramsey, Hoboken, and Montclair and telehealth across NJ, NY, PA, and CT. Our team of 25+ licensed clinicians is known for same week appointments, a warm and collaborative culture, and a client experience built around removing barriers to care. We handle insurance billing directly for our clients, and our administrative team manages scheduling, benefits verification, and billing so clinicians can focus entirely on clinical work. We are adding psychiatric services to give our clients truly integrated care, and we are looking for an experienced prescriber to build this offering with us. The Role We are seeking a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed as an APN in New Jersey for a part time position providing medication evaluation and management to children, adolescents, and adults. You will work alongside a large, established therapy team, which means a steady internal referral stream from day one and true collaborative care, not isolated med checks. This role is flexible by design. You choose your days and hours, work from one of our offices or via telehealth, and grow your caseload at a pace that works for your life. What You Will Do Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children, adolescents, and adults Collaborate closely with our therapists on shared clients Maintain timely, thorough documentation in our EHR Participate in occasional case consultation with our clinical team What We Are Looking For Active NJ APN license with PMHNP board certification (PMHNP-BC or equivalent) 5,000+ hours of licensed psychiatric practice, qualifying you for independent prescribing in NJ without a joint protocol Experience treating both children/adolescents and adults Active DEA registration and NJ CDS Comfort with a collaborative, therapy integrated model of care Warm, engaged clinical style that fits a relationship centered practice Licensure in NY, PA, or CT a plus for telehealth coverage, NJ a MUST What We Offer $85 to $100 per clinical hour, based on experience and licensure W2 position; benefits eligibility based on hours worked, discussed during the interview process Full administrative support: scheduling, intake coordination, benefits verification, and billing all handled for you Steady internal referrals from an established team of 25+ therapists Flexible scheduling with in person and telehealth options A collaborative, well run practice with strong clinical leadership Room to shape and grow the psychiatric arm of the practice Schedule Part time, approximately 8 to 16 hours per week to start, with room to grow.
