Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient medicine. Must be able to admit patients and follow up in an inpatient setting. Be able to review labs and discuss with family the findings. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care, conducting thorough physical examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our patients through comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment plans. Must have at least 1 year inpatient hospital care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Review all labs and discuss findings Offer guidance and support to families. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in New Jersey. Must have at least 1 year experience in inpatient medicine, in a hospital setting. Must be able to admit patients and follow up in an inpatient setting. Familiarity with physical examinations and infection control practices. Review all labs and results and discuss with patient/family of the findings. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
