Overview Join our dynamic Psychiatrist-led healthcare team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health care. This exciting position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert psychiatric assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. We are seeking an energetic, motivated professional passionate about advancing mental health services across diverse populations, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Your expertise will help foster a supportive environment that promotes healing and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Evidence-Based-Best-Practices, state and federal regulations, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians and therapists to coordinate holistic patient care. Provide evidence-based psychopharmacology & brief psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like DrChrono and our own proprietary systems for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence strategies. Active New Jersey APN license Active DEA registration and New Jersey CDS registration, or willingness to obtain both before start Comfort with electronic documentation and a 72-hour note-closure standard Experience with, or genuine interest in, patients under 18 Join us to make a meaningful difference in mental health care! Pay:
$108,215.83 - $150,000.00 per year
