Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Evidence-Based-Best-Practices, state and federal regulations, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians and therapists to coordinate holistic patient care. Provide evidence-based psychopharmacology & brief psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like DrChrono and our own proprietary systems for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence strategies.
