Job description: Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with experience and interest in palliative and pain management. Our practice provides palliative and pain management appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative and pain management services in the ALF and SNF settings in the Deming area. We are pleased to offer
FLEXIBLE
DAYS and HOURS The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment Provide palliative and pain management to treat the patient best Perform pain management procedures as needed Define and document patient diagnoses Prescribing and refilling medications Patient and family education and management Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes Actively participates in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals
Requirements:
Must be licensed as an NP or PA in New Mexico Must have an active DEA license
