Job Description
A well-established OB/GYN practice in the Henderson (89052) area is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join its clinical team. This is an outpatient women's health role with a gynecology focus, delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across the lifespan, from adolescence through menopause. The practice offers a collaborative environment, modern facilities, and the lifestyle advantage of a four-day clinical schedule. The practice plans to reinstate obstetric services in early 2027, offering the opportunity for the right candidate to grow into expanded prenatal and obstetric responsibilities as that line of service launches. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling and management, preconception counseling, and problem-focused GYN visits Perform routine office procedures (Pap smears, IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, endometrial biopsies, wet preps, colposcopy assist as applicable) Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide patient education Collaborate with the supervising physician and clinical staff on complex cases Document accurately and timely in the practice EMR Support quality initiatives, HEDIS measures, and patient experience standards Participate in the practice's planned 2027 obstetric service expansion, including prenatal and postpartum visits, as scope is reinstated What We're Looking For Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (WHNP or FNP) Active, unrestricted Nevada APRN license with prescriptive authority and DEA National board certification (WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, or equivalent) 1-3 years of OB/GYN or women's health experience required Proficiency with electronic medical records Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset Interest in growing scope into obstetric care as the practice expands Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience Four-day work week - enjoy a built-in three-day weekend Performance and productivity incentives available Paid time off and paid holidays CME allowance and paid CME days Malpractice coverage License, DEA, and certification renewal reimbursement
