Job Description

Job Overview Enlightenment LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/MD) to join our growing mental health practice. This role includes opportunities to work with a supportive, mission-driven team that values high-quality, patient-centered care. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and mental status exams Formulate DSM-5-based diagnoses and individualized treatment plans Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications Provide medication education and address side effects and safety concerns Offer short-term or ongoing psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, supportive therapy, etc.) Integrate psychotherapy with pharmacological treatment plans when appropriate Perform routine follow-ups to assess progress, adherence, and risk factors Conduct home visits when clinically necessary Coordinate care with internal and external providers and agencies Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant documentation in EHR Comply with HIPAA and all state and federal regulations Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and wellness strategies Qualifications Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/MD) with current state licensure and prescriptive authority. Demonstrate experience in behavioral health settings with proficiency in clinical research methodologies related to mental health. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, and CPT coding for billing purposes. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Tebra; telehealth experience is highly desirable. Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, assisted living residents, hospice & palliative medicine patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive approach to patient education and team collaboration. Pay:
PMHNP - $75-90 per hour MD - Salary varies; will be discussed in further detail during the interview process.
