Job Description

Alpine Basin Care is hiring immediately for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our growing wound care team in Northern Nevada. You do not need to be a wound care expert to apply. If you are a strong clinician who enjoys hands-on care, wants more autonomy, and is interested in learning advanced wound management, we are willing to train the right provider. Our providers care for patients in their homes, residential settings, and our outpatient clinic. We currently serve 6 counties in
Northern Nevada:
Fernley, Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville, Dayton, Silver Springs, Wadsworth, Nixon, and Fallon. Responsibilities may include:
Comprehensive wound evaluations and follow-up visits Development of individualized wound treatment plans Sharp debridement when clinically appropriate Management of diabetic, venous, arterial, pressure, traumatic, and post-surgical wounds Compression therapy and edema management Ordering and reviewing labs, cultures, imaging, vascular studies, and other diagnostics Coordination with home health, vascular specialists, podiatry, infectious disease, DME companies, and other members of the care team Monitoring wound healing and adjusting treatment based on clinical response Patient and caregiver education Accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks Providers with advanced wound care experience may also participate in more complex wound management and program development. Who We're Looking For We are looking for an NP or Physician (also can possibly hire a PA if we find the right candidate) who is clinically confident, dependable, and comfortable practicing independently while still having a team available for support. Wound care experience is preferred, but not required. We are especially interested in providers with backgrounds in: Primary care Internal medicine Family medicine Urgent care Geriatrics Home-based medicine Skilled nursing/post-acute care Wound care Requirements Nurse Practitioner or MD/DO Active Nevada license or ability to obtain Nevada licensure Appropriate prescribing credentials; NPI, Pharmacy License, DEA Reliable transportation for mobile visits Comfortable working in both clinic and residential settings Schedule Flexible - Part-Time to Full-Time We are open to discussing: 2-5 days per week Consistent part-time schedules Optional Full-time schedules Hourly or alternative compensation structures depending on experience and availability No weekends.
