Role:
Compassionate Medical Care of WNY is looking for a dedicated and caring Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Amherst, NY. Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across patient populations Develop and manage individualized patient care plans Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and wellness Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements:
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program Current national NP certification (FNP, ANP, or relevant specialty) DEA registration and prescriptive authority in New York Experience in primary care, family medicine, or related clinical setting preferred Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
