Job Description

DERMATOLOGY NURSE
| PA • NP • RN We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse to join a growing dermatology practice providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic care. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse who is confident in patient assessments, skin exams, clinical procedures, and supporting dermatology providers in a fast-paced setting. The practice offers competitive pay, strong clinical support, and opportunities for continued professional growth. Responsibilities Perform patient intake, medical histories, and dermatology-focused assessments Assist with full-body skin exams and accurate skin mapping Identify and document suspicious lesions, changes, and areas requiring provider evaluation Assist with or perform biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures within scope of practice Support skin cancer screenings and follow-up care Provide wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure education Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, sun protection, and skin care Maintain accurate documentation and photography within the EMR Collaborate closely with Dermatologists and the clinical team Key Dermatology Skills Full-body skin exam support and skin mapping Biopsy and minor procedure assistance Lesion documentation and clinical photography Wound care and suture removal Patient education and dermatology treatment follow-up Qualifications Active Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Previous dermatology experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of common skin conditions, lesions, and dermatologic terminology Comfortable with skin mapping and detailed lesion documentation Strong clinical and procedural skills Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dermatology setting Mohs surgery experience is a plus, but not required Why Consider This Dermatology Nurse Opportunity?
