Job Title:
Nurse Practitioner Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 5:30pm / 6pm Depending on day
Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Nurse Practitioner in Cohoes, NY with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.
Duties:
Conduct pre-employment, occupational health, fitness for duty medical examinations for candidates, New York State civil service, local civil service, and partnering agencies and authorities referred to Employee Health Services. Review respirator mask questionnaires and complete clearance reports for State employees on the use of various types of respirators. Review the results of audiometric testing and prepare reports for employees and referring agencies. Assist with diagnostic testing, including electrocardiogram, and pulmonary function testing; and provide immunizations, including Hepatitis, rabies, and influenza for current State employe47es. Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care Must have a New York State License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse; and certification by the New York State Education Department in a specialty area to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

NYS License to practice as Registered Professional Nurse Certification by NYS Education Department in a specialty area to practice as a Nurse Practitioner Minimum 2 years experience BLS -
