Job Description

Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Compensation:
$200K-$300K per year
Job Type:
Part time or Full time. Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, No call. A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care. Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management. Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed. Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care. Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice. Stay compliant with
HIPAA, NYS
DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines. Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects. Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
Qualifications:
BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
NYS RN & NP
license, BLS, Board Certified Trained in Internal Medicine 8+ years experience as a NP Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care. Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base. Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
