Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Your expertise will support diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring optimal health outcomes. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs measurement, to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and dermal fillers when appropriate. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and infectious disease care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and patient data management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Educate patients on health coaching topics such as nutrition, medication administration, and disease prevention strategies. Experience Proven clinical experience working in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency rooms. Demonstrated expertise in critical care environments including ICU or pediatric ICU (PICU). Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring technologies. Familiarity with medical coding systems like
CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9
for accurate documentation and billing processes. Prior work in specialized fields such as gastroenterology, hospice & palliative medicine, or occupational health is highly desirable. Strong background in performing diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, medical imaging, sonography, or sterile processing techniques. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and post-acute care procedures to support diverse patient populations including those in assisted living or nursing home settings.
