•125/hr | Psychiatrist $200/hr PMHNPs and Psychiatrists, looking for a part-time addiction psychiatry job in New York, NY? An outpatient substance use treatment clinic is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatrist for one weekday a week (7am-3pm, no Fridays). This part-time psych job starts on site weekly for the first month. After that, it moves to mostly telehealth psychiatry. What You'll Do Provide psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medication management for adults with substance use disorders. Treat opioid use disorder patients in a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program using buprenorphine (Suboxone), methadone, and Vivitrol. Collaborate with an outpatient addiction medicine team of physicians, PAs, nurses, and substance abuse counselors. Complete timely psychiatric documentation in the EHR, in person or via telehealth. Qualifications Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with an active NYS NP license. OR a board-certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) with an active New York medical license. Experience in addiction psychiatry, substance use disorder treatment, or an OTP/MAT setting required. Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine preferred.
