DEA LICENSE REQUIRED
- Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one psychiatric evaluations with patients Diagnose and treat patients with mental illnesses contributing to or causing substance use disorders Serve as an educator for patients and their families Conduct one-on-one medication management sessions with patients Coordinate overall patient care with other members of clinical staff and behavioral health staff, this will require attending case conference meetings Conduct group therapy sessions with patients, for topics including but not limited to medication education, addiction and the brain, co-occurring disorders The PMHNP is actively involved with Victory's clinical treatment team in planning services, setting goals, and monitoring patients' progress in our program.
