Role Summary The NP/PA will be the day-to-day medical professional at the clinic, overseeing patient care from initial consult through ongoing management. You'll be responsible for clinical evaluation, prescribing, administering injections, and prefilling medications. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial consults covering medical history, weight and lifestyle assessment, and contraindications Prescribe and manage anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 therapy Administer injections and prefill medications Advise patients on weight loss goals, lifestyle changes, and progress Manage side effects, titration schedules, and medication education Document thoroughly and on time in the EMR Required Qualifications Active NP or PA license in New York State Experience with GLP-1s and side effect management Comfort working independently as the on-site clinician Strong patient counseling and communication skills Available to start immediately
