M-F, one day onsite at the Geneseo Clinic, rest of the hours are remote

4612 Millennium Drive Geneseo, NY 14454 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner provides direct, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting, specializing in the treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, establishing diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and managing medications in compliance with NYS OASAS and OMH regulations. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric and physical assessments, including health history and diagnostic evaluation Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders, including co-occurring conditions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and Medical Director to coordinate care Participate in case reviews and team meetings Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation using electronic medical records Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to all regulatory requirements Qualifications Active NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license and Registered Nurse license DEA license required Prior experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment preferred Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment Work Environment & Expectations Office-based, team-oriented setting Must be able to manage a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care needs May work with high-acuity or crisis patients Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and substance-free workplace This job description is intended to provide a description of essential job functions that are used in order to assess employee performance. Pay:

$68.00 - $75.00 per hour
