Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your advanced clinical skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications within your scope of practice. Responsibilities Perform detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to determine health status. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation. Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications. Assist with procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, spinal taps, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and sterile processing techniques. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain medical records meticulously, ensuring adherence to CPT coding standards and drug enforcement regulations. Skills Extensive experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses using
ICD-9/10
standards. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing or medical imaging techniques like sonography or laboratory experience. Strong client communication skills with a focus on health coaching and client-centered care approaches. Experience working in outpatient clinics. Pay:
$65.00 - $90.00 per hour
