Job Description

Busy Dermatology office seeking a Nurse Practitioner for full-time or part-time position. Dermatology and/or surgical experience preferred. Job requirements include excellent communication skills including those needed to build good relationships with patients and staff, strong work ethic, professionalism, dependability, willingness to learn, adeptness with procedures, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Health benefits, 401K plan, CME, vacation time available. Duties and Responsibilities Our day begins at 7:30 am and ends between 5 and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, however, our Nurse Practitioner will work a 4 day week in a full-time role. Our Nurse Practitioner will see patients of all ages for general dermatology exams, follow ups and/or excisions.
Requirements:
The successful Nurse Practitioner must be knowledgeable about dermatology and licensed in the State of New York. Prior experience will strengthen their application. Continuing formal education is required and a set amount of money is allotted to the Nurse Practitioner for this purpose each year.
