Immediate About the Position We are seeking experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioners with expertise in Wound Care and Pain Management (No-Fault Trigger Point Injections) to provide high-quality patient care throughout New York. We are currently seeking Nurse Practitioners in the following locations: Bronx Brooklyn Queens Long Island Manhattan
DRIVER PROVIDED A
driver will be provided for transportation to and from patient visits. Candidates are not required to drive themselves to assigned patient locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner and at least 1 year of experience in Wound Care or Pain Management (No-Fault Trigger Point Injections). This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor, per diem opportunity for qualified Nurse Practitioners interested in providing specialized care to patients with wound care and pain management needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds. Develop individualized wound care treatment plans. Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Perform No-Fault Trigger Point Injections for appropriate patients within the provider's scope of practice and applicable regulations. Assess patient response to treatment and modify care plans as needed. Prescribe medications and treatments as clinically appropriate. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies. Provide patient and caregiver education regarding wound care, pain management, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care. Follow all applicable New York State regulations, clinical standards, and HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license. Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Wound Care or Pain Management (No-Fault Trigger Point Injections). Experience performing No-Fault Trigger Point Injections is strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Current professional liability/malpractice insurance, as applicable to the independent contractor arrangement. Willingness to travel to assigned patient locations.
