Responsibilities The Urologist Physician Assistant or Nurse Pracititioner position is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders of the genitourinary (GU) tract, assisting at surgery for urological disease or disorders for patients of the Garnet Health Doctors, and is responsible for care and treatment for patients in our clinics, hospitals, and facilities. The Urologic Physician Assistant or Nurse Pracititioner works with an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and administrative support staff to perform duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of the Garnet Health Doctors, supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $125,091 through $140,550 annually. The range or contractual rate listed may not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Qualifications Physician Assistant:
EDUCATION
P.A. degree from an accredited school.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Current Physician Assistant Licensure in New York State Graduate of an Accredited P.A. Program Current BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification preferred Board Certification required. DEA registration valid and unrestricted
Nurse Practitioner:
EDUCATION
: Masters in Nursing Required / Nurse Practitioner
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
NYS Nurse Practitioner License- with Prescriptive Privileges DEA registration valid and unrestricted BLS certification required and ACLS certification preferred.
ANCC Board Certification Advanced Practice Physical Requirements:
Stands, walks, sits intermittently throughout the day. Lifts, pushes, pulls light to heavy weights as required.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily indoors with exposure to various nursing unit and/or patient care elements. Travel to outside facilities is required. Workplace type
