Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Pre Surgical Evaluation Position Summary Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner assumes responsibility for the care provided to a selected number of patients. Consideration is given to the patient's stage of development according to life cycle. The Nurse Practitioner acts in a collaborative role to facilitate and manage the pre-surgical evaluation of patients under the supervision and direction of an attending anesthesiologist. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the various departments utilizing pre-surgical processes to insure the accurate and timely exchange of information.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program Master's Degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner Program Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a RN Demonstrated competency as a Nurse Practitioner License/Certifications Current NYS licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification as an Adult NP or Family NP or completion of certification within six months from date of hire. BLS required for all NP's in
