  • $146,000 base salary + $20,000 Night Shift Stipend + Quality Incentive Opportunity Saratoga Hospital Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Inpatient Medicine/Hospitalist team on the overnight shift (8:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM).
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to practice in a collaborative, supportive environment while enjoying the autonomy and professional growth that come with hospital medicine. Full-time employment consists of 14 shifts per month , allowing for a highly desirable work-life balance. We welcome experienced APPs as well as new graduates. Our comprehensive APP Fellowship Program provides structured training and mentorship for new graduates, while an abbreviated onboarding program is available for experienced providers transitioning into a new specialty. About the Role As a member of our Hospitalist team, you will play a vital role in the care of hospitalized patients, working closely with our Nocturnists and multidisciplinary care teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Evaluating and admitting patients from the Emergency Department to the Hospitalist Service Performing comprehensive histories and physical examinations Developing treatment plans and entering admission orders Collaborating with physicians, consultants, nursing staff, and ancillary services to coordinate care Managing acute medical issues and assisting with rapid response situations Rounding on patients as assigned and participating in care transitions Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice This role requires a confident, motivated clinician who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with physician colleagues and the broader care team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current New York State NP or PA license (or eligibility) DEA registration and
BLS/ACLS
