Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Adult Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, with precision and aseptic technique. Manage chronic conditions like geriatrics, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases through ongoing monitoring and tailored interventions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, order entry, and care coordination. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Engage in health coaching, patient education to promote wellness and prevent illness. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical records and documentation. Experience Proven experience working as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical settings such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation. Background in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, or hospice & palliative medicine preferred. Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and utilization review processes enhances clinical efficiency. Experience working with special populations, geriatrics Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology—including psychopharmacology—and medical terminology ensures precise patient assessment and treatment planning.
